Hi Scotty,
I enjoy watching your videos and have learned a ton, Thank you for that!
So, I have an older Kia with 148k, pretty well maintained. When it rains heavy and the roads have some puddles, the steering wheel seems to have a little play when turning makes some squealing. This happens when turning after driving though 1-2” of surface water. (No, I am not hydroplaning). When it’s dry outside, no squeal. Also notice the ac and lights seem to bog down when running on full blast while in idle when dry (all the time). The serpentine belt is 2 years old 15k. Ac serviced 6 months ago. Alternator 2 years old. No pulley noise when dry.
This vehicle is a gift for an older person who needs a reliable vehicle, we don’t have use for the vehicle, but want to make sure it’s a solid vehicle before I pass over the keys.
Jagger.
Well I'd replace the belt and if it doesn't stop then I would buy a new automatic tensioner to those do wear out
