If anyone can help me out that would be amazing.
Vehicle: 2007 Lexus ES350
Fault codes: NO CEL , ZERO CODES
problem: unresponsive braking AND bogging when accelerating
Maintenance Done: spark plugs, air filter, new throttle body, new MAF sensor, new fuel pump and fuel filter, new brake booster check valve, new alternator, all new brake lines, calipers pads and rotors
Description: Driving my car used to feel GREAT I could feel the POWER of my 2grfe. Accelerating felt graceful and braking felt assuring. Fast forward to now and my car feels like it’s always running on 2 cylinders I feel a significant drop in performance. When I accelerate it feels like I need to constantly apply pressure to keep the car moving and I have to MASH the gas pedal if I want to overtake someone and EVEN THEN it’s downshifting like a 4 cylinder barley picking up enough speed to overtake. When I brake it feels unsafe and almost scary. I literally have to keep pushing , keep pushing and KEEP PUSHING til my car stops. The brake WORK.. they just take ALOT of effort and constant concentration. It’s not slowing down with intent it almost coasts to a stop.
SCOTTY, ANYONE, PLEASE HELP ME. It’s my living hell. 🙁
Well there are so many things that can possibly do that I'm presently in Rhode Island if you don't mind coming to Portsmouth I'll check them out free and I tell you what's going on with my fancy scan tool. But if not you'll have to find somebody like me in your area who has such a tool they road test it they memorize all the data in a recording then we play it back and analyze the data since you have no check engine lights or codes or anything that's where you start
Check for a vacuum leak from the intake manifold to the brake booster diaphragm.
