I currently have a 2005 Corolla with 262k miles on it. It still runs good but I've moved it from New Orleans to the frozen tundra of NW Minnesota. Therefore I'm looking to get something newer that can handle the wintry roads better.
I've noticed a 2007 Rav4 with 200k miles on it that doesn't look rusted out in the photos. It's 4WD with a 2.4L 4 cylinder engine and the dealer is asking about $6,500.
The free Carfax report shows one owner, 28 service history records (mostly oil changes), airbag replaced in 2013, no accidents reported, and I keep seeing "Vehicle color noted as green". In the pics it looks silver or gray but could have a green tint to it.
OH! It was built in Japan.
Do you think it might be a wise choice?

Not for that price, and not from a dealer and not because of any information from Carfax.
I second what Doc said. The price is way to high. Since your car is in good shape, take your time and find a better vehicle.
