Hey Scotty, I bought an 07 B9 Tribeca for 750 bucks about a year ago and I’ve had a great time working on it and driving it. It’s got 243,000 miles on it and the transmission stutters when going uphill. I do love this car but I’m conflicted about wether or not I should look at other cars. With your experience on Subarus is it worth putting money into it, or should I just buy a new car?
Thanks for all the informative and entertaining content you post!

It’s pretty hard to get a good running and driving car for under $1000 these days. You paid $750 and drove it for a year you got your money’s worth. I would move on. If you really love that car, get another with low mileage.
I would not put money into that Subaru transmission with that kind of mileage. It's extremely expensive to fix those things and that vehicle is pretty well worn out
