I just recently replaced all the motor mounts on the Avenger because every time I would shift into any gear from park and if I let off the throttle while driving and then get on it again there was a loud clunk. A friend and I investigated and found all the mounts were shot. Now after replacing all of them the clunk is still there. I have jacked up the car and put my hand on different steering and drive components and cannot figure out where the sound is coming from. I replaced the wheel hubs and CV Axles about 30k miles back. I also just replaced the breaks. And suspension was done two years ago.
Check your transmission mounts. With your mileage, load test the various suspension components as they may not have any play in them just by checking with your hands/pulling on them.

I changed all the transmission and motor mounts. They are all new they probably only have 400 miles. Also I did not just put my hand on things and shake them. I put the car back-and-forth in gear and it was doing it. I could not feel anything but, I could still hear it
Hmm, another thing to look at is your ball joints. The trouble is, without diagnosing the issue correctly, you may waste a lot of money replacing the wrong parts.
It may be time to take the car to a reputed front end shop who does good work.
Also check Scotty’s video on how to find the source of car noises. That might be a good way to narrow down the problem if you want to diagnose it yourself.
