I got a 2008 Lexus GX 470, 1 owner with 85,000 miles on it for $15K.
Sometimes when it's parked, the air ride suspension drops over time and when I start it back up, the air compressor fills the airbags again, bringing it back to normal height. If I drive before that process is done, the truck bounces like a bounce house! I bought a conversion kit from air ride to normal coils and shocks from a company called Suncore, was wondering if they're any good?
Also I had to get the intermediate steering shaft changed, is that normal for it to have worn around this mileage? Already got the timing belt and water pump done as well, so just wondering if there's anything else I should look out for.
Personally I have never heard of Suncore, but that doesn’t mean anything. I did lookup their conversion kit, I wouldn’t expect much for the 260 buck one I saw. The steering shaft is unusual this early from my experience but it’s possible to have one off weird failures on anything. Once you get the shocks sorted out with everything you have done so far you should be good for awhile.
