Scotty,
I didn’t feel like buying boring new, cookie-cutter car for $30,000. So I searched and found on Facebook marketplace back in October 2018. A 2008 Mercury grand Marquis GS. It belong to an old lady, it had 17,000 miles on it when I bought it. The minute I saw it I knew I was going to purchase it. Always garaged hardly out in the rain never out in the snow. As close to NEW As you could get. Spotless on the inside and underneath too, my mechanic said it look like new like it’s never even been out in the rain. Still has the original brake pads in the front back and the original rotors. Even the original serpentine belt. It now has about 47,000 miles on it. What do you think about getting a nice stainless works exhaust system on it Scotty, someone told me they could send me a genuine “tune“ for the car $500 and it plugs into The port underneath the front drivers area. The man claims it will not really add much horsepower but make the car feel less “constipated“ because the settings of the factory hold the car back he claims. It would just be smoother and more pleasant to drive according to this guy in Georgia. He runs/ ownsMoe’s speed shop. Marty Oaks I’d like to keep this car well into the 200,000 mile range. Nothing rides like these cars anymore. What is your advice Scotty
pete
Sure why not sounds like a guy knows what he's doing and that isn't a bad idea make it really classy
Thank you for the advice Scotty. Why not make it real classy and look different than a regular old grand Marquis I agree.
