Scotty, I have a 2008 Range Rover Sport HSE. I have an issue with the idle when it starts cold 99K miles. The idle fluctuates (sounds like the car is breathing with asthma!) until the car is warmed up. Is that normal? What's the fix?

Cold Start -High idle, Low Idle, fluctuates 500 to 1K RPMs...for 5 minutes.. then RPMs are steady at low idle... No engine shaking... runs smooth other than that.  I did a used car inspection at the dealer they couldn't find anything. Weird.

Look for vaccum leaks. Also, clean the MAF sensor and throttle body.

Thank you, I'll look that up and give it a try!
