2009 Chevy Aveo5 LS (Standard)

I recently just test drove a Chevy Aveo5 LS. I know your stance on Chevys and Aveos. But I do take care of my vehicles well and this vehicle is being purchased privately, (not through a dealership) and the previous owner has taken good care or it as well. I was looking for a cheap standard vehicle to get back into driving a standard and I found this today. Everything looks great as far as I can see. No terrible rotten rust anywhere, drove fine, and the engine sounded good still with nothing but valve clatter, wasn't loud or anything.
This vehicle is only going to cost me 1050, I was just wondering if the same rule applies to this vehicle as it being better than the automatic version of the same car? Also if there was any special maintenance that this vehicle will need other than the normal fluid changes and sparkplug and filter and such?

Thanks Scotty and or Scotty's moderators for the help

Well its going to depend on what mileage it has on it to a degree but 1000$ is nothing for a car so unless it has an insane amount of miles just send it.
