In a north of Toronto suburb we bought a used 2011 Kia Rondo 3 yrs ago. High kilometers and drove 80000km. But it was totalled in a bad frontal crash at 280000 km use. Bought a used clone Rondo replacement auto. BUT the 2.4 MPFI seized after only 2 days. Classic bearing connect arm related. Arm piece into block. Luckily its replaced free via used dealer warranty. Now this used motor has 190000km. Wamt to baby and TLC this one, with strict synthetic oil and A1 filters. Any other advice to avoid the Kia 2.4L oddball bite-you curse? Love the car. Using a magnetic tip crankcase drain plug. Do an engine flush good or bad idea?? Want to avoid debris in bearings etc. Any magic to avoid that?
