I still watch your "YouTube Videos" and took your advice about my 2008 Nissan Maxima.  That car was sold a couple of months ago and purchased a 2009 Mercury Grand Marquis with less than 55K miles.  You showed a similar car that someone bought for $1000 and you stated how long that car could last.  I know you said to use the required oil but is there an advantage to switching to a synthetic blend?  Since the car has 58K miles now, should I consider changing the transmission filter and fluid?  My goal is to baby this 4.6 V8 and shoot for the 300K miles that you say this car can achieve.  I know that this car has a very smooth ride and no vibration at a stand still.  I just don't want it to become the money pit that the Nissan become!  I would be glad to send you pictures of this 13 year old car that is in excellent shape.  I was happy to pay the $7000 for a car in this good of condition.  The trunk on this car is the biggest one that I have ever owned!  Easily hold 4 bodies!  It doesn't have the power the Nissan had but I am getting better gas millage then I could ever get from the Maxima.  Over the Christmas holiday, I got 25 MPG when driving on the I 95 Interstate going from Georgia to Maryland!

PS.  This issue that I was having with my 2006 BMW Z4 seems to be fixed.  After paying to have the exhaust removed and replacing the rubber bushing on the drive shaft along with the center bearing, I still had the grinding and vibration when going up hill.  A shop in Savannah told me to change the transmission filter and fluid on a car with 125K miles.  That was a tough decision to make but that did seem to fix it.  Who knew!!!!

Synthetic blend should be fine.  Trans fluid and filter should be changed every 30-50,000 miles.
