I had a problem with this car until recently where water would leak from the AC evaporator onto the carpet on the passenger side instead of outside through the drain like it is supposed to. After two years of looking I finally found a mechanic who was able to extract the debris inside the heater box that was clogging the system from through the drain instead of the much more expensive option of tearing the whole dash apart to get to it. Because water got into it, the lubrication in the blower motor is not what it should be anymore.
My question is: Can you add grease or oil to the bearings for it or is it a sealed unit where you have to replace the whole thing?
Naw, won't last as they use oil impregnated brass bushings, replace with oem grade.
@hillbilly
Thanks. I'll let it wear itself out or until it's too noisy and replace it then.
