Hey Scotty, I have a 2010 Ford Escape XLT 2.5L 4Cyl with around 155,000 miles. The engine has a rough idle its shaking and has a loss of power, when I try to rev it I have to push the brake first, or else the gas pedal will not respond.

I scanned the car and it showed these codes

  • P0010 "A Camshaft Position Actuator Circuit / Open Bank 1"
  • P2107 "Throttle Actuator Control Module Processor"

I have changed the Battery, Throttle Body Assembly, the VCT Solenoid, MAF sensor, Crankshaft position sensor, Camshaft position sensor, and the engine is still shaking and has a loss of power. What could it be? Thanks for the help in advance.

Well I start by changing the camshaft actuator and pray that caused all the other problems

Changed it and the engine is shaking and the other issues are still there. Does that mean I have a bad PCM?
