Hey Scotty, I’m looking to buy a used Ford mustang. I found a used 2010 V6 premium with 7,340 miles on it. The car shop wants $15,785 Do you think this car is worth it? Or should I look for another Mustang because I’m only getting 210 hp. I’m looking to use it as an every day driver. I care about the horsepower but not so much.

that is an 11 year old mustang but if they can positively absolutely prove that is the real mileage and not some made up nonsense I would offer him $8,500 and see where they went

Those are good cars, but do not pay that for a 2010. The 2010 was the last year of the boat-anchor Cologne 4.0L V6. In 2011, Ford started putting the Cyclone 3.7L V6 motors in.

2010 was a tough year for the Mustang. It got the new body style, but Ford did not have the new firepower ready for the V6 or GT. So you get the style but either the old V6 or old V8. The 4.6L V8 was a great motor. I have a 2010 GT Premium in Grabber Blue and love it. But you never want to pay too much for a 2010 as it is the oddball year.

I'd go with what Scotty said. If they want to come down to $10k or less, then it could be worth it. At it's current price, you can get the 3.7L instead.

How can I make them prove that is the real mileage and not some made up nonsense? What questions do I ask or what paper work do I ask to see?
