2010 Honda Fit Fuses

I have a 2010 Honda Fit. I only drove it a several times just to keep the battery charged since COVID started.  On more than several occasions I had to job start my car because the battery was drained due to not drive it as much. Then one day; when I wanted to jump start my car, I was not paying attention to the polarities when I connected my jump starter battery back. There was a spark and now when I put the key into the ignition, nothing lights up on my dash board. The only thing that works is my hazard lights. Did I blow a fuse somewhere or is it something else?

Can't be a fuse on the main line because you would have ZERO function of 100% of the car. Check around in the fuse box, look at the diagram for those related to dash/ignition functions. Look for blown fuses or a smoked relay possibly. Thats what I would do but Im not super electrical savey.

Well, I certainly would start by checking fuses (and praying that is all that it is). There is also a "Main" fuse or fusible link to prevent this kind of computer-frying situation

If I were you, I'd look at these forums to get Fit-specific answers

The issue was the Terminal Assembly, Battery Fuse which needed to be replaced. https://www.hondapartsnow.com/genuine/honda~terminal~assy~38210-tk6-003.html

Well, … trouble, most likely, is with the PGM-FI main relay. This relay comprises of two relays, relay-1 and relay-2. One relay is energized whenever the ignition is on which supplies the battery voltage to the ECM, power to the fuel injectors, and the power to the second relay. These relays are located just under the dash. These should be identified on a diagram on your Fit.

Anyway, … search for videos on this.  There are some out there that tell you how to diagnose relays, … or, just have a Honda dealer do it for you. This part of diagnosis is not for a meek.

Check around your fuses and hope nothing was done to the computer itself.
