I have a 2010 Kia Sedona. It’s high mileage. Giving codes P2106, P1295 and then P0171, P2187, P0174, P2189. Here is what happens. I walk out and the battery is dead. I charge the battery up and then when I start the van it revved up to like 7000 rpm until it dropped down to idle then sputtered and died. I tried starting it again and it did the same thing almost like someone is pressing the gas pedal down. If I tap the brake then it will start dropping but immediately dies. I’m thinking the throttle position sensor or maybe throttle body. When I took the air intake hose off I did find a crack in the hose with the air filter being dirty but I doubt that’s what is causing this issue. I think the hose crack when I was pulling it off to look at the throttle body but I’m about to fix that to see what I get. Has anyone heard of this? I can’t find any info on that issue. I’ve never even heard of it before. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Is your throttle body electronically controlled? If it is, I wonder if you switched to Run, without starting the car what would that do. Take off the air hose end by the throttle body and observe where the throttle is. It should be closed. If you switch it to Run and the throttle is wide open, there's definitely something wrong.
Ya it’s electronic. I took the intake hose off and found a crack so fixed that. Also blew out my air filter. I then wiped down the butterfly on the throttle body and put back together. I started the van and it only revved up a couple thousand rpm and came down and it actually ran great. I restarted it and for the first time it started just fine. I let run for about 10
Min in hopes to relearn but it started idling funny so I jumped in and when I turned the headlights on it stalled and died. The battery light was on and one of the fault codes said limited power so that motor doesn’t get damaged. I figure that’s why it shut down. I’m about to pull the throttle body off to clean and then see where that gets me. The way I figure if it was the sensor then it wouldn’t have ran good. Sensors are normally good or bad. They don’t usually just act up every now and then so since messing with the throttle body and it ran fine I’m thinking I may have to just replace it. I’m not familiar with how to relearn the throttle body on this van. I can’t find any info about how to do it

You probably will need to have a mechanic with a professional-grade scan tool do that.
