2010 Saturn Outlook Radiator Fan Always Running

There wasn't any DTC's until today.  P0119

Coolant Temp Sensor was replaced last week, inspected wiring today and replaced with a new pigtail.

Thermostat replaced and Coolant topped off.  New Gasket on housing and new o ring for the thermostat.

The temp gauge was all over the place today before the wiring replacement.  This morning before changing thermostat and wiring for temp sensor I did get a Engine Hot NO A/C  warning and my fan continued to run after shutting off the vehicle.

Fan relay have been replaced, Fan continues to run on overdrive even when engine isn't hot.  The P0119 is a permanent code now but no check engine light showing.

I am getting heat inside the car and defrost works.  What would you suggest next?  I was reading how purge valve can cause engine overheating,  which my valve is clicking very loud.  I do not notice any engine power loss, no white smoke,  Spark plugs and air intake gasket were replaced this summer.  I try my best to maintain the vehicle.  I did have an ac line blow out but I figured the radiator fan was just working all the time since the ac was broken.  I'm lost.

Well, since it's a 15-year-old Saturn, I would assume more than one thing is wrong. Now, if there was a short in the wiring that could have fed back and destroyed the driver circuit on the computer. It would take a parole to check that to see if the computer is going bad. Now. If it runs all the time it really doesn't hurt anything. As long as you have a new thermostat in the engine it will open and close as normal and the fan running really won't hurt anything. But like I said being that old I would assume it probably has numerous problems and you didn't say which engine it had because some of those engines had head gasket problems where the head gaskets start to blow and they'll do that

@scottykilmer I'm at 148,000 with the 3.6 Engine. All has been going well for months. The wiring on the temp sensor was pretty brittle but not to the point where it caused electrical feedback to the computer.
