I have a 2011 Lexus LS460L AWD with 131k miles on it. Occasionally I've noticed while going uphill the vehicle seems a little jerky while going uphill. Is it possible that there could be a problem with the transmission? I was thinking about having the transmission fluid changed to see if that helps. Is that a good move? Are you aware of any sort of known issues with the transmissions on these cars?
It's been very well cared for, and I do not drive it hard. It's silky smooth and shifts very smoothly through all gears, I've just noticed this issue over the last few months. Maybe it's not a transmission problem at all...
Change the air flurries, clean the MAF sensor. Pressure test the fuel line as well. Those cars are well made and it is unlikely that the transmission has issues at that mileage, although it is a good idea to change the transmission fluid.
Are you using premium gas in that Lexus?
Always premium gas for sure
