Hi scotty I have a 2012 Camry LE 2.4 L. It's a great car but it has one serious issue, the car will accelerate fine to around 40 MPH then stop accelerating then shudder for a brief moment then once again start accerating. I can't find the issue for the life of me, I would appreciate your help.

Badly designed torque converter. Toyota replaced them for 8 years from the date the car was put into service or 150000 miles, whichever came first. Model years 2012 to 2014. Unfortunately, your car is just past the 8 years.
