I found a 2012 Jeep grand cherokee with 57,000 miles. It would be my first car because i am into a higher car and this would be a nice one. it is AWD and an automatic. It is the Laredo trim with a 3.6L V6. Would this be ok for a daily driver. thank you
Not particularly. Electrical and engine problems top the list of common issues.

My wife has a 2013 GC, which I think is similar. It’s got pluses and minuses.
Ride quality has not deteriorated in 9 years - rides nice. Interior is very well put together, and frame/body is solid. Transmission has held up well at 170,000 miles. Really good multipurpose car - daily errands, road trips, off road adventures, towing... does everything well.
But, @chucktobias is right about electrical. Nothing terminal, but minor annoyances. It also has stupid suspension issues and squeaks; seems like we keep replacing the front stabilizer bar (it comes as a unit and you can’t replace just the bushings).
2 caveats. We have the 5.7 V8, which is a spectacular motor (though it eats gas) and I don’t know so much about the 6. We also have a lifetime warranty so fixing things doesn’t cost us. And since we have had it since new, I know it has been well maintained
For what it’s worth, my wife and I have kept that car longer than any other in 30 years of marriage, and it’s been a good investment. But you will definitely want $ in reserve for repairs
