Hey from B.C Canada Scotty! My dad and I bought a 2012 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited as a fun weekend vehicle and have been modifying it for offroad use. We know Chryslers aren't known for their reliability but for my dad who was born in the soviet union, owning a Jeep (and actually using it) has been a life long dream. We are very involved in the building process and have installed most of the current mods our self (including a 3.5" Lift). But we want to know all of the common problems that our model could have in the future and ways we can avoid these problems. Also, I forgot to mention our Jeep only has about 53k miles on it and we have the 5-speed Mercedes automatic transmission
Thank you for all you do, for being truthful and only speaking from first-hand experience! {pear}
Maybe it is time to change the transmission fluid.
Try to baby that car and keep up with the regular maintenance to last as long as possible.
@yaser Yeah, we bought it in May and the past owner went to the dealer for everything and was very up to date with maintenance. I want to go through all of the maintenance records to see what was done and what should be done in the near future.
Are there any common problems that may come about even with regular maintenance?
I do not know specifically about that car issues but since it is a Fiat Chrysler product. the quality is not there and I'm more worried about the automatic transmission and also electronics.
