I'm looking at a 2012 Mazda 5 with 170k on it with a manual transmission. The dealer's asking 4300 for it. Is this a good deal?

It can be a decent car (especially with MT). Check for the rust on that car and make sure to have your mechanic check it out before buying it.

Can you explain a little?
The dealer probably picked the car up at auction for about 1/4 that amount and who knows what its history is.
