I have a 2012 Toyota Corolla S automatic with 284,000 miles. What should I do for overheating engine after replacing coolant temperature sensor, thermostat, and using bars leak fix for positive test when using headgasket kit test? Should i try flushing radiator again but using solvents for flushing? Car is still running hot and now ac and heater are blowing luke warm through all vents except driver's side vent which works fine. There's no milky consistency on oil dipstick and no smoke from tail pipe. Only need a temporary fix at this time until trying to attempt replacing head gasket. What should I try next to prevent overheating?

If the radiator is plugged up there would be cold spots where the coolant flow is blocked. That is most easily spotted using an infra-red thermometer. Also make sure cooling fans are working and water pump is pumping.

If the Bar's Leak didn't work (not surprising) that engine is not going to be right until the head gasket is fixed, and the overheating can damage the cylinder head and even the block. When you replace the gasket both should be checked for possible warping.

Thank you. I will try that!
