Hey Scotty, I recently bought a 2013 Acura ILX with 92k miles in January. What do you think of them in terms of reliability?
Since purchasing, I have changed the struts, engine mounts, sway bar links, alternator and serpentine belt...all of which (except for the serpentine belt) only have OEM parts for sale that I need to buy at a dealer, why is this? This has made repairing the car extremely expensive.
They are expensive hondas. That's exactly what they are. You got a great car they are literally rebadged hondas take care of it and it'll last.

Yes but why are the parts dealer-only? That’s what I don’t understand.
Dealer only? what are you talking about? https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=2013+Acura+ILX+alternator&_sacat=0

rockauto is a good place to compare brand prices quickly and simply also.
Those items are not common to go bad at that mileage. Is the stealership robbing you everytime you go in for an oil change? I see it all the time.
And parts are readily available for the car, you just need to cross reference with the other Hondas.
You don’t need to buy a OEM honda alternator from the dealership when Denso is the supplier for Honda, you buy the half priced same exact alternator from denso from a place like rockauto.
