I have a 2013 Dodge Dart SXT automatic. When driving up an incline the tachometer stays put even when I floor the accelerator and the car refuses to accelerate (it just slows down). The whole car then shakes and makes a weird groaning noise from somewhere underneath. I took the car to the dealer to try and see what was wrong and they said the car was due for a transmission service. When I got the car back, it was a little better but it still did the same thing but a little less. I took it back to them and they said it's just normal. What could this be? The car only has 65,000 miles. Any advice on how to fix this?
I hate to say it: … 65k is how long - on average - those Fiat engine (Alfa Romeo Giulietta) / transmission combinations last in those Doge Dart vehicles, … so, sorry.

I would recommend you video record how the car is on that incline and take it to the “experts” at that dealer and show them proof and get your money back for whatever “service” they performed. Clearly, they just ripped you off with a BS transmission service that did absolutely nothing to fix the problem.
I had something similar now twice with my dart. And a coworker as well with his. It wound up being the coil packs going bad. Easy fix.
