Hello Sir. I have a 2013 ford f150 5.0L V8 with about 154k miles. Had a radiator fluid leak and figured out which hose it was I needed to change. I took apart the air intake tubing and throttle body to get to the coolant hose I needed to change and I placed a microfiber cloth to cover the intake manifold. I put everything back together after i finished changing the part but forgot to remove the cloth. I started the vehicle and had a misfire code of P0301 and a knocking noise coming from the engine. Figured out the cloth got half way stuck in the value. I took out the cloth. I did a compression test in cylinder 1 which gives me a reading of 90psi and the the cylinders are about 125psi. I don’t get any check engine light or codes coming up but Now when I drive the car it will shut off when it’s idling in gear and give me a low oil pressure warning. Not sure if that would be an issue with a bent valve or oil pressure switch.
Well, if you have a little oil pressure odds are somehow it clogged up some of the oil feed lines and if you drive it that way it'll do serious damage to the engine. If it hasn't already. I would start by trying to blow out all the oil lines on the vehicle using compressed air and probably doing engine flush to try to get all the crap out
