I am making a deal with a guy for a 2013 Ford Fusion Titanium which seems to be in great shape at 93k miles. The only concern I have is that when I took it on a test drive, the gears weren't shifting smoothly from the 2 to the 3rd gear, yet all the other gears seemed fine. I am debating with myself whether or not the car has any future transmission problems and if I should take the deal or will I regret it? Is this imperfection of the shifting a serious warning sign of transmission problems?

I recently saw that thousands were recalled for brakes. Something to check into.
