I am thinking of buying a fresh pair of tires before fall, but I don't really know what would be best - I'm looking for all season mid-range (at least) tires, it doesn't snow too much too often where I'm from and I can't really afford two sets of tires for now, the old all seasons are worn and will be discarded. What are some recommended brands for this make and year from your experience?
If it helps, they will mostly be for city driving and for some highway driving.
If you are looking for some that can handle some winter weather, but are good for any time and place, take a look at Nokian. They make some great all weather tires, such as the wr g4's like I put on my prius and loved them. I run the rotiiva at tires on my Lexus GX470 which are a mild off road tire, and actually ride great and quiet, yet great traction for the type of tire it is. I took into consideration that I travel up north in the winter fairly often, but I want something I can use in georgia where I live, or in places I go like Texas.
