Hello Scotty, thanks for all the videos you post, I'm new to your channel and now I can't get enough. I drive a 2013 Chevy Malibu with an automatic transmission and 144,000 miles on it that I purchased at a dealership used. I didn't notice this while test driving it but after a couple of days I took a longer trip than normal and noticed that after driving for about 45 minutes when I came to a stoplight the idle would dip below 500RPM's and shutter before dying. I have taken it to multiple shops and no one seems to know what the problem is. I have no codes when I plug in a OBD reader, and it only happens after it's fully warmed up and been driven on the highway. When I stop at a light, if I put it in neutral, it idles normally at 800 RPMs. Also if I have it in park I also don't have the same problem occur. It's just after it's warmed up and I've been driving on the highway, and then I stop, but I'm still in drive, or reverse. Several parts of been replaced including an oil pressure solenoid, air filter, fuel additives have been put in, and no one can seem to find out what's wrong with it. The dealership told me that I was past three days so I am stuck with it. While stepping on the gas it runs very smooth, and I have no issues outside of this. The gas mileage is not good but then again I bought a Malibu. Let me know what you think.

Mike

try the basic stuff for a poorly running engine first ... inspect spark plugs, air filter, etc. Then I would check for vacuum leaks and fuel pressure.
