2013 VW Jetta SE, 105K miles, manual transmission. No engine error lights. Recently had the master cylinder replaced along with brake job. The Brake lights stay on when the brake pedal is not depressed and go off when the brake pedal is applied. I replaced the brake switch that is located next to the master cylinder with no change. Checked the fuses and they are all good. Seems like others have a similar problem but no real fixes. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Change the brake pedal switch.
