So my dad had bought a 2014 Acura TL with the 3.7L engine from the original owner for my mom's birthday. Unfortunately it's having a little bit of a oil consumption issues. About once a month he checks the oil level to make sure it's within the marks of the dip stick & tops it off when needed. Is there anything we can do to help with the oil consumption besides checking & topping it off between oil changes?
What is the mileage?
It's at about 50,000 miles
I have seen this problem on these Acuras. Check the PCV valve.
Here's a video from Scotty that goes into detail. Good Luck!
