2014 F-150 6-speed tranny service

Hi Scottie. I own a 2014 Ford F-150 4wd with the 5.0L and 6-speed transmission. Truck had 100k miles when I got it back in 2017 and currently has around 138k or so. I like to take care of my vehicles, I’ve had the rear diff oil changed but haven’t touched the tranny fluid yet. I’m reluctant to do so due to the mileage. Ford recommends a 150k schedule. I currently have no transmission issues and i don’t do any heavy towing on a regular basis (I’ve towed 7-8000 pounds handful of times since owning the truck). Do you think I should go ahead and service the transmission? From what I understand only half of the fluid gets changed since so much remains in the system when drained.
I live in Clarksville TN and I wouldn’t mind bringing you the truck for a once over or/and to do the tranny service. Thanks so much!

Yes a service without a flush is fine. They just change the fluid in the pan and install a new filter. I would ask specifically if it includes a flush or not. Some dealers automatically do a flush unless you specify not to.

Check the condition of the fluid first -
