My dad told me about you...he was a big fan. He referred to you as the guy that waves his hands all around. 😀 I am looking at buying a 2014 Ford Focus hatchback for $4000 that has 109,000 miles on it. I have seen quite a bit about the transmission problems these cars can have. My question is that, because this transmission has been replaced, by Ford, is there any reason not to consider buying it? I don't know what transmission they replaced it with or what kind of warranty it may have.

Yes. Those transmissions are poorly-designed junk and there is no fix for them, and Ford knew they were intrinsically defective when the cars were sold new. They would have just replaced it with another of the same kind of transmission that will develop the same problems.
