Hi Everybody ! I had a serious question about my car I come from Canada more precisely in the province of Quebec and I have just become the owner of a 2014 Lexus Ct200h which I purchased from a car dealership at 202,000 kilometers (125,517 miles) I know that it has the same engine as a 3rd generation Toyota Prius which is an engine known to be very reliable.
I’ve had the car for a week and the engine started to shake when starting and stopping when the car goes into electric mode. The shake in question is not as significant but is felt inside of the car. I did some research on the internet and started to panic because the videos I watched showed that the 1.8L four-cylinder Atkinson cycle gasoline engines (VVT-i) had this problem which was often the cause of a head blown gasket. But rationally I tell myself that it is not just a blown head gasket which could cause this vribation, perhaps simply changing the spark plug or the replace with a new 12v car battery could solve this problem Furthermore, I think that the hybrid battery which is not new can create this defect as in the chris fix video ‘’How to replace a Hybrid battery in a Prius’’ at 30min48 second https://youtu.be/oAHaYXBFnJo?si=VrhPavOXdaVX4bgZ&t=2328
I would like to change the hybrid battery myself but unfortunately the site recommended by Chris fix for the prius gen 3 battery does not deliver to Quebec and moreover I have no idea how to remove the parts to completely access the battery because I imagine it’s not the same as on a 3rd generation Prius. I tried searching on Youtube and there is no explanatory video. So here are my questions Is there a site that would sell the same improved battery but that would offer delivery to Canada? or even if there is a way to order it in the United States and I will come and pick it up myself at the same time as a trip. Likewise if there would be a video which shows how to change the battery from a to z.

Well of course you can go and buy batteries in the United States if you don't mind. Taking a trip and going that route. In most places will install them who sell them too. I'd check to see what's closest to you. Since you're in Quebec. You could always see if there's any place in Vermont or Maine that does that. I don't know any offhand but just go through a list and check. There are more guys selling electric car batteries as time goes on
