Hey Scotty I have a 2014 Subaru Forester 2.5i with the CVT. I bought it used about 2 months ago with 58k and have almost 59k on it now. How often should I be changing the transmission fluid? I would assume about every 50k but am not sure if it was ever changed by the previous owner.

I would change it more often than that I would change Toyota tranny fluid every 50 60 the CVTs are relatively weaker so I would do 35-45k depending on driving conditions.

In addition to the above, use the correct fluid for your transmission because the old Subaru CVT transmissions were renowned to fail prematurely.
