Hey Scotty, my 2015 Ford F-150 with a 3.5l EcoBoost 6 speed auto makes a weird grinding/buzzing noise at 50kph when on the throttle slightly. I was thinking fuel pump but that doesn’t make much sense to me. Also the truck has been beat on so I’m not surprised that issue are becoming appertain.

you might want to have a peek in the rear axle

@mountainmanjoe
If it’s the rear axle what should I do? a shop screwed up putting the differential cover back on by stripping a bolt when it got serviced, then it leaked all the fluid out and the differential went. They fixed it no cost, should they have to fix it again or pay for it to be done right?

it "went"?
what did they fix?

@mountainmanjoe
The differential cover and the gears.

what did they do with the cover and gears?

anyway, if they worked on it they should fix it. Then never go back there.

@mountainmanjoe
They replaced them. I don’t know about the axles tho, it started 8 months ago and it was replaced 9 months ago, I didn’t drive much recently because of covid and forgot about the issue until recently when I started driving more often. I don’t know if I even have the receipt for any of it anymore.

changing gears is a serious job. You must have paid a lot of money for that.
