Whenever I’m closer to the muffler on the drivers side of my car you can hear a louder noise coming from the muffler as well as when I get around 2000 RPM this leads me to an exhaust problem I took a video of it because when it’s cold outside where I live around 20°F it’s will make a gurgling sound in my muffler wondering if this is something to be worried about my car runs smooth and fine just kind of an annoying noise to hear I’m right over 116000 miles bought it with 108000 done it the whole time I’ve had the car
You're welcome to upload the vid to Youtube and post the link here
It is just the water inside the muffler. In the very cold weather, The muffler does not get hot enough to make the water evaporate. If you drive it and engine gets hot, the sounds will go away.
When I get around 2000 rpm it seems louder than it should be but driving down the road it’s hard to get it on camera like it isn’t super loud and it’s really only when I’m accelerating that it’s noticeable like going up hill or getting on the highway is when it’s the most noticeable
Inspect the whole exhaust system for any leak or loose connections. Also, check the catalytic converter. The sounds seems like a rattling.
okay thanks I mean it isn’t a serious problem I don’t live in an area with emissions checks but it’s just kind of personal annoyance I will have my Honda dealership look at it thankfully they’re usually pretty truthful
