Hey Scotty I have a 2015 mazda 3 i touring automatic with 54000 miles. I took my car in for an oil change at the dealership and they recommended changing the drive belt and tensioner due to oil starting to leak from the seals. Is it worth changing and at what mileage/year should this be changed? I want to keep everything oem. I plan on keeping the car for a long period. Thanks.

Where was the leak? Did you see it?

Have you inspected the belt? Does it make noise?   About the change interval for serpentine belt, look into the car user manual.

If there is an oil leak, you need to find the source of the leak before replacing anything, if there even is a leak at all.  Do not trust a dealer, ever.
