Hey, I've got a 2015 Mazda 3, and I've been experiencing some issues when accelerating uphill. The RPM jumps a bit, and I've noticed the transmission shifting between 6th and 5th gear before going back to 6th. Is this a sign of gear slipping, or could there be another issue causing this? I'd really appreciate any insights you might have on what could be going on with my transmission. Thanks for your help!

Conventional transmissions need their fluid (and filter if applicable) changed at least every 50K to 60K miles for longest life.

If you're talking about whether there is enough transmission fluid that is something you would need to check. If there is no dipstick it would need to checked from underneath the vehicle following the factory procedure. See the FAQ for detailed information about changing transmission fluid.
How many miles? When is the last time the transmission was serviced?
I did a little history back in 06/06/2021 when I had an oil change two months after the transmission was rebuilt my odometer was 255,962 mi at that time and now it is set at 360085 miles and I just looked up some info about recommending changing the transmission fluid every 90,000 miles or so. it looks like my problem is I need a transmission fluid am right? or wrong?
It set at 360085 miles, and since then it has not been serviced for a while
