- I have a 2016 Acura ILX premium package, 73k miles, automatic 8 speed dct. I attempted installing amp and subs, and disconnected the battery, ran out of daylight and didn’t finish last night so I reconnected the battery and planned on finishing tonight. Well, fast forward to this morning, I start the car to go to work and I have a bunch of lights on my dash. Emissions system, power steering, VSA, hill assist, etc, I assumed this was because the systems lost power so I cleared the dash Symbols and drove fine to work. Well at lunchtime right now I went to leave and the car starts strong, idles a little rough, and when I apply gas revs normally then dies. Please help. I don’t know what to buy. Battery? MAF? Alternator?

I assume you did not short out anything.
When you remove the battery, the idle setting resets and you need to do the relearn procedure or keep driving the car until this process is done. Here is a video on relearn procedure:
