Scotty I love Mustang but I don’t know much about car reliability. I saw this 2016 4cyl 2.3 with 81k miles for 18k. Automatic transmission. And the service history recorded is 8 with one owner.

do you thing is a good deal and is the engine reliable for daily driving?

I don't know much technicalities of Mustangs, @mod_man is good with those, but here is what I've got.

4 cylinder? I assume its a turbo EcoBoost. Horrible engine.

81k miles? Too much for an EcoBoost, basically end of its life. You would need to go through a couple engine rebuilds/replacements and honestly it isn't reliable, whether for a weekend toy or daily driving.

Price wise, its seems expensive to me for the miles but I can't say something for sure.

100k miles is about the end of life on those EcoBoost 4-cylinders. I would definitely pass at $18k. Here in Houston you can go to the Ford dealer and leave with a 2021 for $24k brand new.
