I had watched a video of scotty saying that the 2016 2.0 earth land no turbo charge honda civic base model was probably one of the best newer civics around but in another video he stated that the 2016 civic models have soy wiring covers and rats would chew at them. so my question is, does every 2016 civic model have the soy wiring? would it be worth getting this specific model?
Unless you have a severe rat problem in your neighbourhood, I wouldn’t hesitate to pick up a 2016 Civic.
Just be sure to have it thoroughly inspected by a professional mechanic, before purchase.

Depends where u live and those are great cars with that powertrain and a lot better than the 1.5T of that year and the 2015 Civic (I remember my dad renting one after he dropped off his Odyssey for service and the CVT was terrible). If ur area is not known for rats, I would go ahead and buy it. Just make sure to have a mechanic inspect it first to see if it needs anything done or if there is some issue.
