Hey everyone, I need some help. I'm working on a car I bought and when I did a code scan I found SRS code 21-11. I'm not sure what it means or how to fix it. Can someone help explain what this means and how do I fix it. Thanks!

Seatbelt tensioner circuit problem:

Well those are vehicle specific but generally that's a code for a problem in the driver seat belt system where the switch is not working correctly telling the airbag system that the seat belt is either buckled or not buckled

It's from my 2008 Nissan Maxima. Do you think I should replace my seat belt and that will fix the problem?

Year or model?

Sounds like that should do it. It’s an open pre tensioner code so it would be in the belt assy

I'd check wiring first to make sure it's not just a bad connection.
