I'm looking at a 2016 Mazda6 manual transmission, with 55,000 miles but with a "rebuilt" title, in Texas.
The independent dealer said the damage was only to the body and nothing structural (frame) nor the engine and transmission. Air bags are still intact and never deployed. He said the damage was to the left front headlights, fender and bumper.
I find it odd that it would receive a salvaged title for just cosmetic/body damage. I haven't test driven the car yet. Just wondering if it's even worth my time? He is asking $7,490.
What do you suggest?
I could not recommend purchasing any vehicle with a "salvaged" title due to insurance and liability concerns.
I would consider it. What would the car be worth without the salvage blemish?
