Hello guys. I have a 2016 Toyota Corolla with 100000 miles on it. Recently I started experiencing lack of power when accelerating, I changed the spark plugs, cleaned MAF and throttle body, also replaced the air filter. I’m fearing is the transmission slipping. What should I do.

Well, that is a classic sign of the transmission. Slipping. Make sure the fluid is full. Low fluid will do that too. But if the fluid is full and there aren't any transmission codes, odds are the transmission is going out. You could try some anti-slip additive but those things only work so far and I rarely a permanent fix

Thank you Scotty. I love ur videos BTW. I’m a car enthusiast. Hi from Florida. I’m gonna try to change part of the transmission fluid, not a full flush, I see your videos . Also what do you think trying to replace the filter, solenoids and transmission solenoid valve body

Replace the filter if it's accessible. Replacing the other parts is a waste of time and money unless diagnostics show them to be faulty.

Looking up specifications it appears that some of those cars are equipped with a conventional automatic transmission and some have a CVT.  If yours has the latter it does not have shift solenoids (it has adjustable pulleys) and the kind of anti-slip additives that are designed for conventional automatic transmissions will not work and would probably cause more damage.

If you have a conventional type automatic transmission an anti-slip additive such as Lucas might provide some temporary relief. You should examine the old transmission fluid to see if it is burnt or gritty, indicating excessive internal wear.
