Scotty, love your show, been watching for years. I have a 2017 Dodge Durango R/T, original owner, bought new, 77k miles, no issues at all yet, keep it in 'granny mode' (eco) mode, though I really dont know what that is, DO NOT run it hard at all, change oil every 6-7K miles, full synthetic.
My question is, are there problems I'm going to come up against when I hit 100k miles? I'm concerned about the transmission, should I drain/change it? also carbon build up, I hear of catch-cans, what are your opinions on the longevity of the Hemi, I want to keep the truck and drive it for many years with no payment. take care!
eric
Lack of proper, clean engine oil will hasten the demise of the engine, particularly the hydraulic, roller lifters. As @kp said, change the engine oil and filter at 5K miles maximum.

It depends on how you take care of it. If you keep maintaining it, then it will last some time. Change the transmission fluid and filter now if you haven't already.

What? You should be changing the oil every 5k miles.
longevity of the Hemi,
I've seen a good handful with 250k+ miles. These motors have some issues but if you take care of them, they won't fall apart.
