I want to replace the front brakes and rotors for my 2017 Hyundai Elantra Value Edition. I'm getting Akebono brake pads but I don't know which rotor brand is good since the OEM started pulsating and feel like sliping after 70k miles. Any suggestions?

If you already got akebono pads, I would highly suggest you also get their rotors to insure best meshing contact and less chance for noise and other inconveniences from mixing two brands.

I have not purchased the brake pads. I can't find the Akebono rotors... Brembo does not have brake pads for my car, only the rotor.

I've been using Brembo rotors for many years with no issues, though they are made in China these days.

I recently ordered the new parts... I will post an update on how the Akebono pads + Brembo rotors work. Thanks!

Update on the brake pads and rotors: no problems so far!
