I’m really not sure what’s going on with my Honda. It went from running perfect a week ago to running so weird. I’m using a lot more gas unless I drive like a grandpa. The brake pedal was soft when I got it I changed the brakes and rotors and had Honda do an inspection on the brakes and it had no issues supposedly. But now my seems to not have as much power. And the car vibrates a lot for only have 20k miles. It has a cvt transmission. And an electronic fuel throttle. A week ago when you let off the pedal the rpms would drop to under a 1000 but now when I’m in cruise control on the highway it will be running at almost 2000 rpms. And that is not what it used to do. My gas mileage has dropped in the city. And sometimes the rpms drop and raise after letting go of the gas. I’ll attach videos if I can. And sometimes I hear a clicking sound after letting go of the gas pedal. There was a weird sound coming from behind the dash. I know I’m all over the place but I’m just listing everything that I know happened. Idk weather it’s transmission or the engine or what at this point the car still driving with an reasonable amount of power but it’s not feeling like when I got it. I put 3800 miles on it in 2 weeks I doordash. I’m scared ima lose my car for real. Any ideas?

sometimes when I press the gas the rpms will lower before raising  Idk  I just don’t know how to explain it all  it’s

and the car vibrates a lot sitting still in gear and less taking it out of gear but still vibrates

Also now the rpms are at 1100 when completely stopped but when I take it out of gear it drops to 700 and sometimes I see it go lower sometimes wtf this car is a mess

Do a trans service, fluid and filter, NO FLUSH.  See if it improves.  Sounds like like may have been in an accident previously (causes many random problems).  Get you a good scan tool and start monitoring/collecting live data... can lead you to the cause(s)... sounds like more than one to me but just guessing as I don't have the data.  Would like to hear/see engine in park with the vibrations... but not a replacement for having data.

Never in an accident. Will take video of motor tomorrow at cold start and warm.

You might be right about it being a transmission issue it is a Honda CVT and you should be changing the transmission fluid and filter every 3/4 years or 30-40k miles. I would try that. Do not flush it.

I took it to the dealership and they said no transmission problems but I feel like they drove it around the parking lot lol. Will be dropping it off at a transmission shop next Monday
