2017 Toyota Sienna, faint ticking noise when turning

Hey Scotty,

I have a 2017 Sienna with only 80k miles on it (I say only because my 09 had 295k) so this one is still a baby. When I make turns I can hear a ticking noise (when turning either way, I notice it more when I turn right but can always hear it when i turn left). I notice it most when I am driving at lower speeds (Like turning in the neighborhood or turning at a light) My CV Axles went out in my 09 and that was an obvious noise, this is just a faint ticking? Is that that cv axles going out? or might it be something else? Its very faint (right now) There's no loud clucking noise or anything (not yet anyway if it's the axles).

Could be the axles make a video and put it on YouTube and place the URL here and I will listen

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6cNNjm1Y7U It starts at 3 seconds, It seems louder if I do not come to a complete stop and happens when I turn both ways. I've only ever noticed when I'm making 90 degree turns (I do not notice it when making slight turns on the highway)

Tires are brand new (bought in November, maybe have 15k on them (I drive a lot)) Just changed brakes and rotors in January. Power steering fluid is good? (I thought it was maybe the power steering pump?)

Sounds like your cv axles to me..

It clicks when you step on the gas & turn sharply at low speed, correct?

Yes I believe so, if it step harder on the gas, the louder it is

Are the boots ripped & leaking grease?

I'll get my son to jack it up soon to check. He was just changing a timing belt on a ford ranger (belt was worn out and we told him if he could change it, he could drive it, he got it changed! So now I can pull my van up under the car port to check boots. This van only has 80k on it so i'm really surprised there's any issue, my 09 had 250k before it needed new axles, I guess even toyota doesnt make things like they use to 🙁

Planned obsolescence, unfortunately..

Have you checked the tires to see if anything is wedged in between the treads? How long has it been doing it?

Tires are new (bought in November and only have about 15k on them) I get them rotated every 5-10k (depending on when the oil is changed so I remember) Brakes and rotors are new
