Hello scotty i just read that on the owners manual for my 2018 chevrolet cruze says i have to change my automatic transmission fluid at 45.000 miles my car is currently at 49.245 miles should i service it or wait a liitle longer what should i do???

Generally, if you missed the correct time, then do it ASAP.
There’s no reason to wait - you’re going to have to do it anyway but until you do the old fluid will cause wayyy more wear to the tranny more then you probably would otherwise.

Change it now. Just drain and refill.

I would change it (drain and fill) now. As a matter of fact, moving forward, I would change the transmission fluid no more than every 40,000 miles.
